The Fashion Show

Boy, talk about a labor of love!

These are my dress forms from Maya Roads altered.

I would be afraid to add up how many hours are wrapped up in these!

“Revenge”

This was the first one-that little heart…..about sent me over the edge!!

“Wonder Bread”

This was fun to do! The skirt is made from tissue paper. The form

is covered with tissue paper too. The image is from an old Anne Taintor calender.

“There Was An Old Lady”

Remember this story? There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, I don’t know why she swallowed a fly, perhaps she’ll die…

Each of the fragments are the things she has swallowed and the center is cut out with a dangling fly in her “stomach.”

(I actually went back and added some small white polka dots on her dress..seemed too plain.)

“School Days”

This dress form is all individual images collaged together.

The belt is paper as well and the necklace has a few school items..a pencil, chalk, a paper clip, rulers

and a clip. Two apple charms finish off the bottom.

“Sister”

I made the mini rosary and the quote comes from Mother Teresa.

“His Garden”

This is my favorite of the collection. The background is from an old flower magazine from the 40’s.

The shovel makes this pretty chunky!

“Deco”

This is the flat one of the group!

Hope ya liked! 🙂
